Through selected picture books, this seminar guides parents on how to read with their children, helping them to understand and manage their emotions, and promoting emotional exchange and growth between parents and children.
Dr. Lee Pui Ling is currently the Director of the Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education and Special Education programme at the University of Hong Kong, and a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Communication, Learning and Development at the University's Faculty of Education. Dr. Lee specializes in research and teaching in early childhood education, special education, and child development. She has a rich academic background and practical experience, having served as a kindergarten principal and possessing qualifications as a registered kindergarten teacher and childcare worker, as well as professional training in special childhood education. Dr. Lee also serves as an independent school director at Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Nursery Schools, a member of the Steering Committee on the Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence, the Chairman of the Pre-primary Education Committee of the Curriculum Development Council, and an ex-officio member of the Standing Committee on Language Education and Research (SCOLAR). She has been recognized with the 'New Teacher Teaching Award' and the 'Knowledge Exchange Award' by the University of Hong Kong's Faculty of Education, showcasing her professionalism and influence in the field of education.
